What is Gluten Free?
Gluten is a protein found in wheat, barley, rye, and malts. It is used as a food additive in the form of a flavoring, stabilizing or thickening agent. The Gedney products listed as gluten-free do not contain any gluten.
How do you select State Fair recipes?
MA Gedney Company currently sponsors a pickling recipe through the Minnesota and Iowa State Fairs. Judges affiliated with the Minnesota and Iowa State Fairs determine the winning recipes and the top three recipes in each category are then forwarded to the MA Gedney Company. More info on our

What does Kosher mean?
Kosher is the term in Jewish culture that refers to foods that adhere to rules outlined in the Torah. Gedney, DelMonte and Cains Brand products labeled kosher means they have been prepared in accordance with these standards and have been examined by a rabbi to verify kosher requirements have been met.
